Axalta Coating Systems will participate in the NACE Corrosion Expo, March 16-19, in Dallas, TX. For the past three years, the company has offered its customers and other attendees important insights and in-depth corrosion protection information and will continue the customer experience this year at booth #22020. Visitors to the Axalta booth will be greeted by knowledgeable employees and oil and gas pipes coated with Nap-Gard® products will be on display. For over 40 years, Nap-Gard fusion bonded epoxy (FBE) powder coatings have been one of the leading innovative products in anti-corrosion protection offered by Axalta. These coatings also provide ideal corrosion protection on rebar used to strengthen concrete in the construction of highways and bridges. Nap-Gard is also a great choice for valve coatings for use in many different environments ranging from drinking water to more demanding wastewater and saltwater. “We are looking forward to sharing our Nap-Gard line with our visitors at Corrosion 2015. This year we will be highlighting Nap-Gard 7-2514EN series, 7-2508 series, and 7-2610 series products in our booth,” explained Amber Rodriguez, Nap-Gard sales and service representative. Designed for coating pipe for underground and sub-sea pipeline service, the Nap-Gard 7-2514EN series and 7-2508 series are single layer pipe coatings that can be applied over wider temperature ranges than conventional FBEs. These products can be used as a single-layer corrosion coating or underneath multi-layer systems. The Nap-Gard 7-2610 series is a dual layer system that is designed to protect the corrosion base layer. “It is one of the most flexible on the market,” stated Amber Rodriguez. NACE Corrosion is the world’s largest corrosion conference and expo. The 2015 show will bring more than 7,000 corrosion professionals and 450 exhibiting companies to the Dallas, Texas area for an educational experience focused on the prevention and mitigation of corrosion worldwide. In addition to educational opportunities, Corrosion 2015 is a chance to expand professional networks and receive technical support.
